Ormeau Labs Welcomes Project Europe: Celebrating the Next Generation of Talent from the Island of Ireland

This afternoon, Ormeau Labs welcomed Katie Mayo & Jade Yarrow from Project Europe, a vibrant initiative that brings together young innovators from across Europe. It was an inspiring and energising visit, filled with conversation, bold ambition, and a shared vision for the future of innovation.

The goal of today’s visit was clear—to shine a spotlight on this homegrown talent, to share their stories, and to inspire even more young people to pursue innovation with confidence. In doing so, we’re also helping to connect them to a wider European ecosystem of opportunity, collaboration, and learning.

The afternoon kicked off with a guided tour of the historic Ormeau Labs, the team at Project Europe learned about the building’s rich legacy of innovation and community. We moved into a roundtable discussion, where young innovators shared their personal stories—the highs, the challenges, and the lessons learned on their paths to building meaningful businesses.

As hosts, we were inspired by the conversations, the questions, and the passion each participant brought to the table. It reaffirmed our belief that the future of innovation is in excellent hands—and that the island of Ireland has a vital role to play on the global stage.

At Ormeau Labs, our passion lies in connecting entrepreneurs across the wider ecosystem. Welcoming the Project Europe team today was a reminder of just how powerful collaboration can be.
